In 2012, Kässbohrer dedicated its R&D resources and capabilities to develop the next generation of curtainsider semi-trailer.
We named the project as PRO 2012.
THE CONCEPT
The concept for PRO 2012 developed by Kässbohrer’s engineers taking into accout the latest trends and technology to provide long-lasting transportation solution in the general cargo segment.
To accomplish the task, the complexity of the chassis redefined.
Safety
The load security and safety is chosen as the essential building block for the PRO 2012 project. According to defined load security and road safety criteria, the components of the chassis and the upperstructure have been designed and tested to excel in load security. Kaessbohrer’s acclaimed chassis with its new re-design will be basis to configure your semitrailer with the features increasing safety and load security.
Endurance
Pro 2012 is engineered according to the total cost of ownership principle for sustainability. In the meantime we incorporated modular and lighter frame structure into the design process. We aimed to enable our customers to focus solely on to their operations.
Accessorized
By following up the future trends, the Project team incorporates options with the latest technology into the design process, while working together with our premium business partners. Telematics, Dynamic Ride Height, Roof Safety Airbag, Aerodynamic Side Wings are just a few of the examples.
