Kässbohrer Impressed With Its Appearance At The 67th IAA Fair
Europe’s fastest growing semi-trailer manufacturer Kässbohrer took part in 67th IAA Fair, held between 20th and 27th of September 2018 in Hanover, Germany. During the fair, Kässbohrer exhibited a selection of its vehicles and digital examples from its widest product range to its customers from 55 different countries. Kässbohrer impressed with its highest quality vehicles and innovations and crowned its success by winning Trailer Innovation Award 2019 in “Chassis” category, in recognition of Kässbohrer’s Multifunctional Container Chassis K.SHG AVMH.
Kässbohrer’s press conference has taken place on September 20th, 2018 at the Kässbohrer stand. During the very well-attended press conference, Kässbohrer Board Member İffet Türken met 100 respected journalists from around the world and shared recent company developments, introducing Kässbohrer’s latest digital innovations and award-winning products.
Two Nominations and Winner of Trailer Innovation 2019 “Chassis” Category
Kässbohrer has developed and launched Digital Trailer Control (DTC) in 65th IAA in 2014, which builds the basis of Trailer Innovation 2017 Award “Safety” Winner Kässbohrer Safety Bitumen Tanker. This year Kässbohrer exhibited its trailers which feature upgraded Digital Options running on DTC, Trailer Innovation 2019 Nominees Smart Non –Tipping Silo K.SSL and Safety Tipping Silo K.SSK.
Kässbohrer has won the Trailer Innovation Award 2019 in “Chassis” category, in recognition of Kässbohrer’s Multifunctional Container Chassis K.SHG AVMH with first of its kind novel octagonal central frame design that solves all torsional issues that lead to permanent damage of semi-trailers - a problem, which has not been solved for 30 years.

During the 67th IAA Fair, Kässbohrer exhibited a selection of its wide intermodal and construction product range, including lightest tipping silo with the tare weight of 6.000 kg, Trailer Innovation 2019 Award Category “Safety” Nominee K.SSK 60, 3 axle low-loader K.SLL 3 from Kässbohrer’s low-bed range that is designed for the reliable and on-time transport of heavy-haulage and abnormal goods, intermodal curtainsider with Code XL certification K. SCS M that is the perfect fit for efficient and eco-conscious fleet management, Trailer Innovation 2019 Award Category “Concept” Nominee 31 m3 non-tipping silo K.SSL with autonomous discharge system.
Addition to these vehicles, Kässbohrer launched the lightest swap body in the market K.SWAU CL and light and robust aluminum tipper K.SKA during the 67th IAA fair.

During the IAA Fair, Kässbohrer introduced 2 vehicles to the visitors, the lightest Swap Body in the market K.SWAU CL and Aluminum Tipper K.SKA.
The lightest Swap Body in the market with tare weight equal to 3.900 kg and with 7,2 ton forklift capacity K.SWAU CL is engineered for the most economical and environment-friendly intermodal transportation. K.SWAU CL has 34 euro pallet capacity and provides maximum efficiency with the lightest tare weight. The robust design allowing for stowing and freight opportunity, K.SWAU CL provides lower cost in operations.
Kässbohrer’s Aluminum Tipper K.SKA offers more payload and higher fuel efficiency with its unique light design, 4.950 kg. High strength chassis and tough aluminum upper structure of the vehicle stands for reliability and robustness under the hardest load and road conditions. In order to prevent material residue on box corners during discharge process, Kässbohrer’s new vehicle K.SKA offers rounded corners design and provides easier discharge. Modular design of the aluminum side panels is useful for easy maintenance and provides easy change of panel due to any defects or damages.
