Kässbohrer is proud to be the winner of “chassis category” of International Trailer Awards 2025, the continuation and expansion of industry’s most prestigious Trailer Innovation Awards. The award is Kässbohrer’s 7th award in the past 5 consecutive terms and it’s second championship of category “Chassis”.

The winner Kässbohrer 12-15 Flexi curtainsider is a further development of longer higher capacity vehicles presenting an all-in-one-vehicle compliant with all EU wide vehicle dimensions.

Within the EU, there are different regulations for vehicle dimensions and capacities. While Nordic region allows for 25-25 m and 32 m longer higher capacity vehicles, the standard in EU is 13.6 m semi-trailers. Furthermore, within 10 EU countries and UK allow for 15 m vehicles while within cities trailers with maximum length of 12m are permitted.

Built on Kässbohrer’s leading award winning extension engineering, 12-15 Flexi curtainsider is a practically extendable and retractable curtainsider vehicle. A prime example of Enginuity, the extension and retraction can be done while the vehicle is loaded. When fully retracted, the vehicle is 12 m in length and while fully extended the vehicle is 15 m in length. The standard operating length is 13.6 m.
