Kässbohrer has delivered two next-generation double deck reefers K.SRI P to T.T.E. Top Transport Europe Srl – Paglia Group, a leading logistics company specialized in temperature-controlled transport with a focus on the safe delivery of pharmaceuticals. The delivery took place at the company’s headquarters in Frosinone, Italy, with the participation of Mr. Matteo Paglia, Owner and CEO of Paglia Group, Mr. Nello Iaccarino, QHSE Manager, and Mr. Antonio Monteiro, Kässbohrer Area Sales Manager Italy.

“On the day of delivery, two vehicles were handed over, while a third unit was completing the installation of its refrigeration system, bringing our Kässbohrer reefer fleet to three. These vehicles fully meet our expectations and are equipped with specific security and load security features meeting our operational requirements. The Kässbohrer team also customized a storage unit to accommodate our specifications.
During my visit to Kässbohrer’s Adapazarı Mega Campus, I experienced the scale of Kässbohrer’s advanced R&D centers and manufacturing capabilities at one of Europe’s most modern and high-capacity trailer production facilities. This collaboration reflects the strong relationship of trust we have built with the Kässbohrer team over the years, which continues to strengthen our partnership.

The delivered double-deck K.SRI P semi-trailers, part of Kässbohrer’s next generation reefer range, exemplify Kässbohrer’s engineering competence in cold-chain transport and are fully compatible with all major refrigeration systems, offering one of the highest internal height in the industry. Their dedicated double-deck configuration enables the transport of up to 66 pallets, the highest capacities in the industry, while maintaining stable temperatures throughout the box.
Kässbohrer reefer series’ durability and long life are validated through 1,000,000 km of testing. With state-of-the-art insulation featuring a K-value of 0.31 W/m²K, and precise air circulation for equal temperature distribution, the K.SRI P ensures precise temperature control, compliance with pharmaceutical standards, and reliability across Europe.
Meeting Paglia Group’s specific needs, we implemented a number of specific features to further enhance safety, efficiency, and operational convenience. To enhance security the reefers are equipped with Trailer Innovation Award 2023 in the Safety category 2nd Place winner Kässbohrer Integrity Protection Device (KIPD), providing protection against theft and unauthorized entry through patented sensor systems with online and phone alerts as well as an electronic rear door lock.
We also developed a dedicated stanchion cabinet with specific dimensions to accommodate Paglia’s equipment, as well as three additional load securing rails positioned between and below the double-deck beams for enhanced load stability.
