Kässbohrer Presents Top-Performing Complete Construction Range on IAA Transportation 2024

At IAA Transportation Kässbohrer exhibits its 3-axle self-steering extendable low-bed with hydraulic gooseneck access ramp for work machine transport and its 3-axle low-bed platform semi-trailer with wheel recess for minimum loading height, and Europe’s lightest 33 m³ non-tipping silo semi-trailer for cement transportation. From Kässbohrer’s range of tippers, at IAA Transportation the 24 m³ 2-axle steel tipper is exhibited, with 1 ton more payload capacity, thanks to its low tare weight and robust chassis.
K.SSL 33: Europe’s lightest 33 m³ non–tipping cement silo
Kässbohrer developed its non -tipping silo semi-trailer with 33 m³ volume, K.SSL 33 for maximum efficiency for cement transport. With its 4280 kg tare weight, K. SSL 33 is the lightest 33 m³ non-tipping silo in Europe. With Kässbohrer's proven box shape frame chassis, K.SSL 33 has ideal lateral inclination performance and center of gravity which results in high maneuverability even in the toughest working conditions. K.SSL 33 is designed for efficient discharge with perfected cone angles, smooth inner surfaces and customizable discharge solutions.
Meeting the unique operational needs of its customers, K.SSL 33 is offered with several discharge options such as individual discharging per cone at left or right, single discharging at both sides, or discharge from the rear side. K.SSL 33 accommodates up to two separation walls safely in the silo as well as up to three filling domes/manholes and additionally pneumatic filling necks to increase load factor and operational efficiency. Engineered on an aluminum chassis, the whole construction is made to offer a long lifecycle, with no corrosion aluminum parts. With the R&D team meticulously executing tests and analyses and manufacturing excellence with robotic as well as TÜV and DEKRA certified, academically trained welders K.SSL 33 presents efficiency and long product life.
K.SKS B 24: Kässbohrer steel tipper for construction
Kässbohrer tipper semi-trailer, K.SKS, with 3 axles, stands for reliability and robustness under the hardest load and road conditions through its high strength chassis and upper structure. Fully compliant with the regulations of all European countries, K.SKS Bis perfectly designed and engineered for construction transportation such as sand, stones, asphalt, and earthworks. With the tare weight starting from 5.350 kg, K.SKS B provides operational efficiency during transportation. The robust chassis with cataphoretic dip-coating (KTL) process offers durability and persistence throughout the economic life of the vehicle. With king-pin capacity of 12.000 kg and unique upper structure design, K.SKS offers the maximum traction performance on the road and ideal load distribution for road safety. Through the new U-shape of the floor, K.SKS B prevents material residue and ensures fast unloading of bulk materials. 5 steps hydraulic cylinder with a lifting capacity of 250 bar enables operationally efficient unloading. Engineered to couple with 4 x 2, 6 x 2, 6 x 4 trucks, K.SKS is equipped with one-touch brake system, developed for stable unloading operations and with tilt alert system alerting the drivers on inclined lands, providing operational safety.
K.SPA MR3: 3-axle extendable low-bed platform with wheel recesses especially designed for higher loads
Kässbohrer’s 3-axle extendable low-bed platform semi-trailer with wheel recess K.SPA MR is the finest example of Kässbohrer engineering excellence. K.SPA MR 3 provides safe transportation of long, heavy loads with its robust chassis made of S700MC steel and enables higher payload and fuel saving on unloaded journeys with its low tare weight of 10.000 kg. With the wheel recess platform height of 620 mm, K.SPA MR 3 enables the transportation of higher loads. K.SPA MR 3 enhances operational flexibility with its extendable chassis up to 6.900 mm and sliding platform features. The vehicle is offered with various load fixing points such as lashing rings with 5 to 10 ton capacity, 4 x 2 rows of vertical pillar pockets and pillar pockets on side raves. K.SPA MR 3 can be equipped with wide range of options such as axle lifting, metallization, rear and front gooseneck ramps.
K.SLA HS 3: extendable 3-axle low-bed with hydraulic gooseneck access, designed for workmachine transport
Kässbohrer engineered the extendable 3 axle low bed with hydraulic gooseneck acccess ramp semi-trailer, the new K.SLA HS 3, for setting the new standards in heavy goods transportation by maximizing the loading efficiency for the customers with its hydraulic gooseneck access ramp. The new K.SLA HS 3 has a tare weight less than 11 300 kg that increases the payload as well as enables energy-efficient and eco-friendly heavy goods transportation. For more operational safety and flexibility, the new K.SLA HS 3 is surrounded by pillars and pillar pockets, various container locks and lashing rings with increased capacity up to 10 ton, positioned on the gooseneck, platform and side rave contributing to optimal load distrubition.
